Ok, this post will seriously change the way you think of your Summer coffee! Next time you go and order a cup of coffee by the beach out of habit, you will have way higher expectations then before. :)

I hate when I go to a super trendy, luxurious Mediterranean location and then they serve me with jucky coffee which tastes like irony from poorly washed espresso machine in a chipped cup and they charge 8 Euro for it (pretty much for the view from the cafe). I still remember that place and will never go there again! Come on, I take my coffee serious, put some effort into it!

Now, let's get serious and more practical about it. Take the matter into your own hands and start your morning with a fabulous Summer coffee!

Here they go in the order of deliciousness:

2 tsp good-quality instant coffee
2 1/2 tsp sugar
2 tbsp boiling water
1/4 tsp vanilla essence
1/4 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup ice cold water
1/2 cup cold milk
a few ice cubes

  1. Add coffee granules, sugar and boiling water to a glass, stirring until the coffee and sugar has dissolved
  2. Add coconut milk and vanilla essence, stirring to fully incorporate it into the coffee mixture.
  3. Top up with cold water and cold milk, add a few ice cubes and enjoy!

1 tablespoon soluble coffee
6 teaspoons unrefined cane sugar
5 ice cubes
1/3 cup milk (I used soy milk, any milk is fine)

  1. Put the coffee, sugar, milk and ice cubes in a blender/food processor and blend until you do not hear the sound of ice anymore.
  2. Serve immediately. You can decorate this coffee with whipped cream on top (it will float on the coffee blend).

8 ounces coffee, freshly brewed and chilled in the fridge
1/4 cup 1% milk
2 tablespoons nutella
Whipped cream
Ice cubes

Whisk together the coffee, milk and Nutella, until the Nutella is mostly dissolved. Pour the mixture over ice cubes and garnish with whipped cream.

2 cups strong black coffee (for ice cubes)
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
4 cups strong black coffee

  1. Brew two cups of strong coffee. Make this brew slightly stronger than you would regular coffee as it requires a little more intensity to maintain the same flavor when chilled. To do this, add 25 to 50 percent more ground coffee to your coffee filter.
  2. Let the coffee come to room temperature. Coffee likes to be treated gently.
  3. Make ice coffee cubes. The best way to prevent watery iced coffee is to plan ahead — and make iced-coffee cubes. Use the two cups of coffee to make at least 16 ice cubes (or more).  Freeze overnight.
  4. Brew four cups strong coffee or espresso.
  5. Arrange four glass mugs or cups on a tray. Fill each with four iced-coffee cubes. Spoon two tbsp sweetened condensed milk over the iced cubes. Pour one cup hot, strong coffee into each cup, over the iced-coffee cubes. Stir gently and enjoy.

If you were thinking of detoxing and drinking only water this Summer, read this post again and get your coffee fix!

You haven’t visited Europe if you don’t stop by Barcelona in Catalonia region of Spain! This breathtakingly beautiful Gaudi city is rich with centuries worth of cultural heritage which mixed with contemporary, urban and international vibe and mild Mediterranean climate makes a perfect vacation spot for young people and families, oh…and an absolute Mecca for shoppers and gourmands. Be sure to try Barca’s traditional churros with hot chocolate!

High end boutiques are adorning city’s shopping street Passeo De Gracia, through to the more popular Spain’s own high street brands like Zara and Mango- enticing high street shoppers at Placa Angel then filtering down to vintage and second-hand boutiques like Blow and Le Swing vintage within the narrow Carrer’s of Raval and Gotico.

Barcelona has a long tradition of fashion and style. Barcelona is famous for shoes called espadrilles, which even the Barcelona police used to wear and which are widely popular this fashion season with even Chanel and YSL showing them on runway.

The traditional importance of fashion is reflected in Barcelona’s drive to become a major fashion centre, as per it’s fashion event offering and developing industry it could be definitely considered the emergent “catwalk” of the Mediterranean, challenging other fashion capitals of Europe like Milan and Paris.

080 is the code for style in Barcelona, each January and July Barcelona’s own fashion week   080 Barcelona takes place each time in a different historic city venue. The 080 Barcelona Fashion Week is the  product of the Catalan Government with a goal of further developing and internationalizing textile production in Catalonia (part of Spain where Barcelona acts as capital city). The event features established designers and fashion brands like: Isabel Toledo, Custo Barcelona, Desigual, TCN and Mango but also young emerging designers like: Manuel BolaƱo, Georgina Vendrell, Sita Murt and Selim de Somavilla.

Brides to be can find no better place for finding ‘the dress’ then Barcelona. The city is worlds epicenter of bridal industry known by it’s bridal fashion week  taking place each May and hosting more then two hundred wedding dress brands with the best known being   Pronovias with headquarters in Barcelona. Pronovias brand recently celebrated their 50 year anniversary with beautiful exhibition named ’50 Love Stories’ featuring 50 pieces which took us through over the half-century history of Pronovias and the brand’s aesthetic evolution, changing inspirations, techniques, trends, historical events, and the society of each time and the woman who once was the star of the dress.

Overall, the fashion in Barcelona is as rich and diverse as its architecture, both equally impressive offering from Classical and Romanesque to Gothic and Baroque influences. One can never be bored in this gorgeous city where there are always fiestas, fashion and cultural events on the streets and in city’s beautiful historic venues and galleries.

Admit it, you read the title wrong (not a bitch babe, beeeach babe!). :)

This Summer I needed to update my swim wear as for the last couple of years Summer somehow always catches me off guard. I focus on work and work only so I tend to just run and get my bikinis last minute in one of the mass market stores and they usually don't last more then one Summer as salt and sun ruins them quite quickly.

This year I spent an hour online to really research a bit and found some amazing sites from places in the world like Australia and California which have much warmer climate (just like me now in Spain vs. before in Croatia or NYC)  so I figured they must be more specialized in beach wear and have better selection. Turns out I was right.

My three new favorite destinations for Summer dresses, swim wear and jewelry are most definitely   Spell & the Gypsy Collective (seems like I have super boho style tendency this Summer - maybe Barcelona fashion style is impacting me more then I expected),   Shop Planet Blue - multi brand site I fell in love with through their beautiful Instagram photos and  Beach Babe SwimWear which seems to be a bit smaller one brand business then first two but their swim wear is super flattering and you can customize it yourself, I also love their fast and effective personalized customer service.

Price wise, all three pages are in mid to high price range, not as high as La Perla for example but they are in Victorias Secret price range but better quality in my experience.

Personally, I ordered gorgeous coral pink, floral bottom reversible three strap bikini handmade in California from Beach Wear SwimWear and gorgeous blue white white lace one piece and triangle red and white bikini two piece from Shop Planet Blue

Beach Babe SwimWear bikini: reversible floral bottom  & top

Shop Planet blue   Mirage Halter One Piece  &   Mirage Triangle Top and   Bottom

For coverups and dresses I ordered Spell & The Gypsy Collective The FleetWood Maxi Dress out of vintage lace which I am admiring for months and now I saved up for it. :) I also like super adorable play suites which I am always scared to order because I am tall and never know which size will be good as play suites can be tricky with sizes.

Check out my posts later this week for my selection of Summer beauty products and gorgeous sandals to showcase your beautiful Summer pedicure! :)

Like most other working girls I am trying to juggle my work schedule while at the same cook healthy daily for my boyfriend and myself at least twice a day. I don't like to eat same or similar traditional food or pre-cooked meals over and over again, so I try to be creative. if I am gonna cook, I choose to make it healthy, tasty and pretty.

Since this pizza recipe which I changed quite a bit from it's original I found on Pinterest (check out my fabulous recipe board HERE) I decided to share it with you so you can also test it and let me know how it worked for you!

Yesterday was the first time I made my own non traditional pizza dough and it was so delicious that my boyfriend ate it before I managed to take photos of it and brag with it on Facebook (#CroatianTragedies).

1 baking powder
1 yogurt (2 dl)
1 small spoon of honey
1 yeast powder or fresh yeast
1/2 kg flour
1 dcl milk
1 egg
pinch of salt to taste
pinch of sugar

2300 ml tomato sauce
2 small spoons of oregano
200 g of shredded mozzarella cheese
200 g of shredded provolone cheese (or other mix cheese)
200 g slides ham
7-8 sliced champignon mushrooms
Hand full of olives
Fresh basil

Olive oil
2 cloves of garlic

0. Preheat oven on 250 C.
1. Mix 1 dl of milk with yeast powder and a pinch of sugar and small spoon of honey in a bowl. Leave it for 10 minutes to work it's magic.
2. Place 1/2 kg of flour in the large bowl add 1 baking powder in the middle, egg, yogurt and pinch of salt. Make a hole with your fingers in the middle of the mixture and add mixture from step 1.
3. Mix all dough ingredients first with a spoon or fork and then with your clean hands and shape it into a compact dough with your hands. Keep flour handy and add it as needed, as the dough might be sticky at the beginning.
4. Put some flour on clean table surface and spread it with a dough roller and shape it into a circle (I like circle pizza better then square). Line shredded mix. cheese around the edges and wrap the dough corners around the cheese press with fingers to close the edges.
5. Mix tomato sauce with oregano, pepper and salt into a bowl and spread it over the center of the pizza all the way up to edges.
6. Spread cheese over tomato sauce evenly, add ham, mushrooms, olives and basil.
7. Mix olive oil with minced garlic and spread with brush over corners/edges.
8.Place in the oven for about 15 minutes on 250 C. You can see if it's done by lifting the side and checking the bottom.

This pizza was really delicious, you can add or remove toppings as you wish, depending what you like.
Let me know how it tastes! :)

Personally, I am not huge fan of flats overall, I wear them when I am really literary running all day from meeting to meeting or carrying boxes and packing/unpacking and PR or fashion events (even though I learned to do it in heels). Some of the currently popular flats trends I definitely don't care about are Birkenstock and those awful platform sneakers. For me, these two types of shoes simply don't look attractive on anybody, not even Giselle.

Jimmy Cho Glitter Espadrilles

Flats which I am researching currently and looking to buy are espadrilles. Although they are not super fancy as high heel shoes, I found some adorable, comfortable and decorative models which you will be able to rock with denim shorts or white romantic Summer dress.

Most of the Summer vacation I will spend in New York where I will definitely do a lot of walking and on Croatian coast in Dubrovnik where it is kind of hard to walk in heels due to stone blocks on this old city's streets.

Chanel, Valentino and Celine have created the most talked about pairs of comfy Espadrille shoes for this Summer but many mass market brands soon followed with their version so there is a lovely selection out there where you can find all from lace to canvas, leather, silk and suede models.

I'm sure some of you ladies already got your pair  of Espadrilles for Summer or are researching web to find your perfect pair so hopefully this post will inspire you and help you decide. My favorite pair for now are pink lace Valentino Espadrilles and I found a great look-alike pair of Chanel black leather Espadrilles on Asos.com.

Like with studying with preparing for Summer shape I really start last minute when it comes to daily exercising. I mean, I do exercise at home or run about 3 days a week but feel like now when preparing for bikini season I should definitely do it daily, especially since I am working from home and moving much less daily then before and spending most of the time in front of computer.

Now, no matter how often you exercise, if you don't eat right you won't get in desired shape that soon. Generally, I am eating quite healthy, cooking meals at home three times a day for my boyfriend and I eat with him. For me, the issue was portion control sometimes, late night meals and carbs. This is exactly what I decided to cut down on - I don't eat bread, my last meal is at 8pm and I drink much more water.

Since I work long hours sometimes between conference calls I don't get to eat lunch so I get whatever I can eat from fridge without cooking which is usually not to healthy, so now I found marvelous 20 snack option, which I tried all and love them for mid day, evening or morning snack.

#1 Cored sliced apples with peanut butter, oats, nuts, and chocolate chips.
#2 Tofu spinach dip with raw veggies.
#3 Low-fat cottage cheese with fruit spread and unsalted pretzels.
#4 Tortilla chips and chunky salsa.
#5 Raw veggies and ranch dip.
#6 Chocolate pudding and a banana or dipping (I more often eat banana with peanut butter).
#7 Unsalted peanuts and raisins.
#8 Graham crackers with light cream cheese and sliced red grapes.
#9 Ants on a log (celery with peanut butter and raisins).
#10 Half of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on whole wheat bread.
#11 Small salad with light dressing.
#12 Half of a tuna melt on whole wheat English muffin with cheddar cheese.
#13 Homemade trail mix with Puffins cereal, nuts, dried fruit, dark chocolate chips.
#14 Small bowl of bran flakes with 1% milk (I use vanilla almond milk or soy milk) and blackberries.
#15 One cup of Greek yogurt with sliced mango and a sprinkle of Grape Nuts.
#16 Smoothie – mango with mango Greek yogurt and a splash of orange juice.
#17 Two hard boiled eggs with Kashi crackers (salt and pepper and some hot sauce).
#18 Cheese stick and 1 cup of red grapes (I also like to eat pears with cheese).
#19 (Leftovers) Small veggie quesadilla with black beans, sweet potato, scallions, cheese, and (scrambled eggs – optional).
#20 Pineapple cilantro popsicles.

On top, I always eat healthy breakfast, instead of coffee with milk only espresso without sugar, I actually add small spoon of honey instead! My second coffee I now replaced with green tea.

How are you doing with preparing for bikini shape? Do you have any tips which worked for you to share with us?

Try some of these! Just pack them in a zip lock bag and bring to work instead of sweets or bakery goodies.

Following my top four favorite resort 2015. collections shared in last post I continue to be delighted by versatility, boldness and wearability of resort 2015. collections.  Gucci's beautiful resort 15' collection combines snake skin leather with florals, denim and gorgeous pastels.

Collection inspired by 70's features gorgeous python over the knee (on my 'want' list already) boots combined with below the knee floral or denim sleeveless dresses, as well as casual looks like floral bermudas worn with embellished or tie dye sweater.

Collection is rounded up to a whole with a couple of  evening gowns embellished with metal piping, my favorite dresses are definitely pastel yellow sleeveless belted dress and beautiful white gown with open back and metal piping around the waist and neckline.

Resort collections are definitely becoming more and more popular, widely available and wearable across seasons, to bad prices are still very much in luxury range.
