What was the reason you started writing a blog and what does your blog mean to you and what do you expect from it? What type of blogger would you classify yourself as?
For quite some time, I have felt that I need a creative outlet, where I would be able to let my inspiration run wild without any restraints. Blog is a perfect option for that, so a few months ago, I just created my blog: Black&WhiteHeaven, and started posting photos of the things from my surrounding that inspire me. I don't think I fall under any specific category of blogger, and I choose not to; whatever comes across my mind, and makes me personally happy, or inspired, my thoughts, expectations, places I like, fashion that amazes me, or just random things I find inspiring, will end up on my blog. I hope, that my readers will find inspiration in my posts, as well.
Do you think bloggers should be treated as traditional journalist and why?
I think bloggers are bloggers, and they should not be treated as anything else, but exactly that. Each blogger is all; a journalist, a photographer, a web designer, a lector, a PR agent, a marketing expert, and so much more.
In my dictionary, a blogger is a smooth combo of all skills encompassed in all of those professions, with a very personal twist. That personal twist is actually, what makes bloggers stand out, since there is no one else out there, editing, cutting, or directing the road they are taking. Each blogger takes their own road, and that is what I like the most about blogging.
Who are your favorite regional bloggers and what is your general opinion when you compare them with the ones from western countries?
I don't really know so many regional bloggers, but (besides La Passion pour la Fashion, of course), my favorites are 'Ko ne voli cipele, ne voli ni ljude' by Jelena Karkas - Belgrade, 'Pink Flowers' by Natasa - Novi Sad, 'Fashion & Dreams' by Minni - Sarajevo, and 'Fashion and Style' - by Vanja M. - Belgrade.
Elle Serbia featured an article about Serbian bloggers in May '11, and it was a great way to promote bloggers, I believe magazines from Bosnia & Hezegovina, as well as Croatia should do the same.
I haven't noticed much difference in comparison to those from western countries, expect that are just a few bloggers in the region. I guess bloggers in our part of the world are yet to come.
When did you start making jewelry and who is your target shopper?
Jewelry design has been my passion and hobby ever since I was a teenager. However, for the past few years I was focused on some other things in my life, and just about the time I started my blog, I also started a jewelry collection called Be Happy., (just recently featured on my blog). This is my first commercial collection, and it is already getting a great feedback. My target shoppers are those who adore bold, colorful and unique jewelry, and are forever young at heart.
What are the main obstacles for you when placing your jewelry up on market for sale and what is your plan on how to do it?
I haven't faced any yet, or maybe I am just so excited about my design that any obstacle seems like a piece of cake! At this moment I am working on setting up a shop at Etsy, and I hope that within the next year I will open a shop in Sarajevo. I am also planning a promotional event in Sarajevo, that will actually be the key in placing my jewelry out there for my customers.
How do you see the the relationship between the quality of local designers work and the prices of their pieces?
I believe that many local designers lack the business sense in general, and that the prices of their products are way too high for the local market, and the buying power of the customers. It's not necessarily that they do not correspond to the quality of the pieces, but many of designers value their piece a lot, but when they place them for sale they end up being disappointed with the customers' feedback. I understand it's quite ok to value your products, but each designer has to think about the target market, and the ability of that market to purchase their designs, just like in any line of business.
What materials do you use in making jewelry and where will it be available for purchasing?
I use wood, plastic, and glass beads, wire, satin, cotton fabrics, and lace. My jewelry is currently available for sale in Bosnia&Herzegovina only, all orders are handled via email, and will be available worldwide from October this year at Etsy.

Some of you might remember, some time ago I wrote a post: So many hats and only one head! where I also talked about head wraps and turbans, as this is a piece of a head turning accessory which I personally really like to wear because I believe it brings instant glam to any look and it gives a girl that rather sophisticated, exotic and glamorous feel, for last couple of seasons designers, editors and stylists adore head covers!

Regardless what kind of a hair day you are having or what your hair type might be I recommend you to definitely try it. For the night on the town I would go with black turban with maybe a brooch for more classic look or a colorful and more comprehensive turban wrap with more fabric if you are wearing a one color outfit.

As we are sadly, slowly but surely transitioning from summer to fall, there are trends which arose in SS 2010 collections remained in fall 2011 collections and continued on transitioning in different shapes, shades and forms. One of these is mint or vintage green which I absolutely adore!
Let me tell ya darlings…I like everything mint. I always carry coffee mints in my purse, distribution of which to my ladies after coffee dates looks like a drug dealing, my favorite Starbucks drink is skim milk grande peppermint mocha, I am a lover of vintage design and colored furniture from the days my grandma had such mint color furniture in her vacation house where my parents now live.
When it comes to clothing and accessories my favorites are maxi draped skirt in mint green, nail polish, clutch purse and mint blazer. These are the pieces I am looking and decided to invest in to give a fresh breath to my fall closet.
There are fabulous statement mint green leather jackets & suits for men as well - my boyfriend the other day said he would like to find a light green hoodie to go with his sneakers which reminded me to look for more sophisticated looks for men in green as well, I hope my male readers will approve of my selection bellow.
I also adore mint green crochet sweaters, mint green pieces in combination with hot pink which is one of my favorite colors as well; it looks great with rusty orange, vintage brown leather, white, blue jean but also with red.

You know how they say love is pure?
The way I see it, it is the only gift you keep giving without ever expecting anything in return, and the giving you give is rewarding enough, it’s unselfish, pure.
Everything else is just liking or infatuation.
Some might say it is hard to differentiate the two, but it’s not, not at all, because boy…I tell ya….Love, Love can get pretty crazy. Because people can get quite pissed off, disappointed and defensive when their vision of love is threatened, just like with Santa when we are kids…but Love, Love is real – unlike Santa or Easter bunny.
You never know what to expect, it gives you ultimate high and takes you to the all time lows, and this is precisely so because there is no calculating risks, bargaining or negotiating, it’s just BAM! You jump! And then for a while it’s like – SWOOSH! – Fabulous paradise islands with just you two, and then later – it’s like a protective bubble of safety net and support, and then even later it’s more like – trying not to break the bubble and not let anyone else in.
There is no to much thinking involved really, no risk assessment, no logic, no fear…that’s why it is so magical, special and rare these days. But don’t be mistaken, it doesn’t just live on its own. It doesn’t just feed of itself, it needs to be nurtured, never taken for granted, communicated and acted upon every day, and it shouldn’t become a boring routine but a lifestyle, preciously protected, held not to hard but not to lose either – just like holding a butterfly.
Can it last forever? I don’t know, nobody came back from forever to tell the story, but why not try?J

How do you wear your bow lovelies?
On.Off.On.Off.On.Off.On…..Off. I wish it was that easy, and we could do it with our feelings. I wish there was an emotional switch. So, you meet a guy, the guy is nice, the guy is honest, smart, you date a guy, you like the guy, you do stuff for a guy, sacrifice your own pleasures to be together cause he is worth of it, you fall in love with a guy - ON.
You find out that the guy is SMSing and Facebooking with other girls, the guy was lying to you and becoming more and more relaxed going further in a relationship – OFF.
Noup. Doesn’t work like that. This is one thing where you can’t learn on other peoples mistakes, you need to feel it & experienced it on your own skin, over and over again, and we never learn – because heart...the heart is forever inexperienced.
It's today, in this day and age, with Facebook and Twitter, Email and Skype, sms and Viber on the go loyalty, monogamy, fidelity and honesty to much to ask? Is it threatened to extinct?
Continuing on my “Masks off” post, visiting a “The museum of broken relationships” in Zagreb today, I could not help but wonder if human qualities Ilisted above are not needed anymore?
Let’s see, what has changed? The way we communicate did.
On social media site profiles, we can be who ever we want to be, the better the profile picture taken in now worldwide official photo booth – our restroom, the more likes we get. This photo became very important – so with your best push up bra, make up and bad bathroom lightning in your parents apartment – an average girl who you would never notice on the street suddenly becomes mini Angelina Jolie!
Social media sites today, mainly Facebook – have became biggest dating sites, giving even people with lack of social skills and average looks the opportunity to shine and present themselves in better light, on the safe wireless distance from the person they are talking to.
So now such sites have become a place where you can establish a first contact, meet in person, fall in love and then be paranoid throughout your relationship every time your partner is online thinking – who is that girl he added? Is he poking her?
It seems like we have became increasingly oblivious to and ungrateful towards basic human morals and qualities we recognize in people who are by our side daily. With this increased speed and means of communication we have today we feel like we have infinite options and we are never sure of our current romantic choices.
Is the girl I am with the best I can find? Maybe that blond girl with big boobs who is a model is better in bed then my girlfriend? …hmm…Nothing wrong with poking her and chatting once in a while…If my girlfriend doesn’t know it can’t hurt her..Right? Wrong. OFF.
Maybe that guy with six pack sitting in brand new (dads) Audi on his profile picture and brain surgeon degree (in his info tab) at the age of 25 is better choice for me, he poked me twice today!….hmm…

Many might disagree and call me old fashion and overly romantic…but I still believe there is that one and only person that is just perfect for each of us.

Jamie Beck and her fiancé Kevin create these amazing animated gif photographs which they call „cinemagraphs“- more than a photo, but not quite a video.
Although I know for some these kind of images might seem a bit creepy but for me especially because taken in NYC where I lived and worked for a while are quit emotional and personal for me. I can almost feel the breeze of the subway train passing through the subway stop, and can feel the emotion behind the moving eyes of the model on the photographs. This art form truly does evoke more emotion then the classic static photo to me, without having the tone and the voice of the actual video.
