You are a
true artist, you write music, you sing, you graduated with degree in fashion
marketing and you worked in the fashion industry...what is your #1 love? Where
do you see yourself in the future and what’s your dream job?
My #1 love!
Is and will always be music. Music has played a major role in my life. I grew
up around it and was one of the first form of arts that I was naturally exposed
to. At one point my dad was a music producer and he also had a wild
eclectic record collection, so I guess it rubbed off on me from the very
beginning. As early as I can remember
it's the only thing that felt like second nature to me. As far as where I see
myself in the near future... Definitely continuing to pursue
what I love and want to do and making an impact on peoples lives around the
world by giving them music that they can truly relate to. That to me would be
the greatest success! My dream job has always been to be an artist! I’m
currently in the process of putting out new music this fall as well as videos!
The first
song you released is titled "Fighting", I think this song resonates
with all who tried to live and survive in NYC, what does it mean for you?
"Fighting"
means everything to me! It's pretty much like my auto -biography. I wrote in
retrospect of everything I've been thorough, everything I've faced, not just
throughout this journey over the past few years, but my entire life is in that
one song. It touches on so many different subjects that I know everyone can relate
to in some way shape or form. I'm glad I wrote it! I needed to!
What
are your future plans when it comes to music and fashion?
Well for me
I think with both avenues (Music and Fashion) I just want to keep growing and
evolving as much as possible. I express a great deal of who I am through my
music and as well as in the way I dress. I'm always changing. I get board
easily... So who knows ?… I don’t!
We worked
together in Rugby RL for more than a year, what are your most memorable moments
from the time you worked in Rugby? - share only decent ones ;)
....HmmmM...probably
throwing my temper tantrums! Lol! No, but really I'd have to say Rugby is where
I realized it was time for me to chase my calling, my dream! I was exposed to
so many different genres of music, cultures and styles. It was a great
growing/learning experience. I loved being able to take the time out to work on
creative projects, displays, and interacting with different people. I was able
to walk away from that situation with so much positive things added to me. So I
can’t really pin-point specific moments, but overall, it was a memorable
experience.
What are
the top 5 MUST HAVE items which you think that every fashionable guy needs to
have for the FW season?
IF your Fashionable...
For the Fall/Winter season… A bad ass leather jacket is a must! I’m really into
poncho’s, I think they can be a sick layering piece there’s so many different
ways you can rock them, Sweatshirts with cool detail, Skinny chino’s, and a
pair of Chelsea boots!

You
modeled for one of the shows in the NYFW this week, how did you like this
experience and how was the atmosphere in the backstage?
I
still can’t believe I had the chance to be apart of something like that!
Especially for Ozwald Boateng! It was completely out of my comfort zone, which
was cool because it gave me a chance to tap into something else.

Backstage it
was really crazy and chaotic. Lots of press running around snapping pictures,
we had to practice our walks, and there was a hair stylist running around
spraying hair spray in my hair every 5 minutes! hehe. This was all at the same
time for about 3 hours, which made me nervous as shit! By the time it was my
turn to hit the runway it felt just natural for me as performing, it gave me
the same rush.

Known by his sporty luxury brand Derek Lam covered all of the season's trends in his show, from madras plaids to leather skirts and dresses with my favorite being the metallic gold leather skirt worn with silk cord top totally cool, modern and effortless!
In terms of make up, at Derek Lam, Tom Pecheux, creative makeup director for Estée Lauder, cooperating with Lam now for sixth consecutive season, was aiming for a “delicate, slightly romantic, aqua 3-D look." in which you just want to jump into! - as he put it.

Jin Soon Choi for Estée Lauder painted fingers and toes with Pure Color Nail Lacquer in So Vain, a nude shade with a hint of shimmer. “It goes with everything — any skin tone, any outfit,” she said. “It’s the perfect neutral.”
Derek Lam said that every Spring and Summer women tell him that they want the ease with dressing and make up, they just want to put it on and go, so this is what he had in mind while putting together this collection.
I really liked how comfortable and chic these booties looked!
Here are some of my other favorite pieces (notice the sweater and leather dress trends transferring from this Fall in lighter version to the Spring 2013.).
Bellow you can see the full show - the end result of this exhausting but exciting backstage prep.
How do you like this romantic, aqua and natural beauty trend ladies?

Zac did it again! He proved once again that he knows female body form down to the Z! Another amazingly luxurious and dreamy collection in gorgeous color pallet, with a vintage forms and feel, worn by a full lineup of supermodels like Naomi Campbell, Angela Lindvall, Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha.
I love when designer understands female body form and creates wearable luxurious pieces reminiscent of a certain historic period in fashion but still contemporary enough to be worn by a wide age group of ladies. If it was up to me, I would wear gorgeous couture red carpet worthy gowns with long tail of fabrics behind me every single day!
On a more practical side, I picked a number of pieces which Zac Posen showed yesterday which indeed could be worn daily and styled in wide number of ways like these flared wide-leg satin pants, gorgeous floral, tailored dresses with flattering cleavage which I would wear with leather jacket and Fry college knee high boots or even biker boots.

Aren't these pieces just perfect for a romantic date just about anywhere in the world? I am so ready to wear Zac Posen dress any day!
Leaving Barcelona yesterday felt like leaving home to go somewhere new and in a way, it was. As my boyfriend drove into airport to drop me off on his way to practice a sudden wave of emotions just rushed over my body and I couldn't stop myself from crying. We kissed, hugged and I shoved my face into his chest and cried like a child when you drop him off at the kindergarten for the first time and he is begging you not to leave him at this strange new place. He squeezed me tightly and took a deep deep breath.
An hour later, drowning my sorrow in the venti-cup of cafe late and September issue of British Vogue I could not help but wonder why are we putting ourselves through all this. We are both young, capable and successful. Could there be an easier way to all this?
At about page 115 reading about Sicilian baroque trend I got a bit more optimistic and realistic, so I took a break from Vogue and browsed through my last several photos from days spent together and realised how strong and how much we grew as a couple in last couple of weeks. That has to count for something. All at its own time I concluded.
Later in the day, few hours before departure, I carefully packed my valued jewelry and delicate garment pieces and "death-march" walked to the car.
Before moving ahead to report on my favorite trends from upcoming New York fashion week I would like to share with you second post about one of my favorite brands, Salsa Fall/Winter 2012. collection.
Model name: PushUp / PushIn / Sculpture / ShapeUp
My first Salsa pair of jeans were impulse buy and these were low rise black skinny jeans size 27, they were long enough for me to wear on flats of heels and what won me over was their perfect fit in the butt area. I purchased these for about 90 Euros in City Center One store in Zagreb.
After about 3 months I wanted to get another pair of dark jeans but more boot cut, so I went and got them, my friend Iva's comment after I walked out of the dressing room was " Damnnn, look at your rounded butt! Its like two little bubbles." :)
Now, I am taking the opportunity while I am here in Barcelona to stock up on my Salsas as they have a store with great selection here.I am looking to get a pair of distressed ones and one lighter pair (both skinny).
Since it was awkward for me to share a photo of my butt in jeans, I contacted the brand to get some more decent pictures of their new Fall/Winter collection jeans and they were kind enough to send them to me.
Another thing I have my eye on is this amazing black leather clutch which can go both with casual and evening looks, as well as these fancy belts, the snake one is particularly fierce!
Since the "gold" trend is coming up this Fall, I also
got my eye on these golden pants (amazing for the fall parties) and this gold
snake belt. Also, since from one of the more recent posts you know how peculiar
I am about picking the right sweater, I decided that this beaded shirt and this cotton
cossy sweater would be a good picks for me.
Other then great quality jeans and fierce accessories what
attracted me to this brand was their positive attitude and slogan: Happy New You! :) It reminds on that special
feeling I have when I come back home from shopping and try on all of the new
pieces I got in front of the mirror in various different stylings or that
feeling when you wear extra confidently those brand new jeans to school, work
or first date.
How do you like
Salsa brand and their jeans? Did you had a chance to try them or maybe you own
a pair already? Let me know your experiences.

With all eyes on next weeks fashion festivities in NYC and one foot out of the door I am reviewing busy last week in Barcelona, this was my first work week after vacation so I was working 9-7ish every day trying to catch up on last weeks emails. Instead of going to lunch I was taking short swim-lunch breaks every day noonish to take advantage of what is left of Summer sunny weather at our little pool.
Since my boyfriend was away in training camp for a week so I did a lot of house cleaning, ironing, laundry washing all while watching Spanish TV channels and trying to pick up as much as I can of the language (I really hope I will be able to speak it properly one day since most of Spanish people here do not speak any English).
After house choirs I decided to get back to my workout regime and I started bodyrocking again (I tried it before based on my best friends Anita reco and gave up quickly) this time I am sticking to it. The trainers name is Zuzana and only thing you really need is to be motivated enough and to have a little pink timer for the exercises, I just ordered mine. Can't wait to see the first results, after one week I already can feel muscle pain and my body getting tighter.
Bellow you can find a list of my last weeks posts mostly related to us moving out of the hotel and moving in our new Barcelona apartment {lines of life} with first photos of our apartment. I also wrote a post about one of this FW 2012. season most noticeable trends - sweaters {lines of passion for fashion}.I am particularly opinionated about picking a comfy sweater, so check out my selection!
